Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. Agreement

These terms apply to the MeshForge 3D apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and to this website. By using MeshForge 3D you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use the app for an organisation, you accept these terms for it.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support.

2. The service

MeshForge 3D uses AI models, run by us and by third-party providers, to generate 3D models and pictures from the prompts and images you give it. Results vary: a model may not match what you had in mind, may contain errors in its shape or texture, and the same input can give different results. You are responsible for checking a model before you rely on it, print it or publish it.

Prepare for print checks a mesh for holes, non-manifold edges and other faults. It reports problems; it does not guarantee that a model will slice or print. Print results depend on your printer, material and settings, and we are not liable for failed prints, material or wear on your equipment.

Your printers. The app can follow and control printers you add on your local network — show their status, pause, resume or stop a print, download timelapses and, for supported models, slice a model on your phone and start a print. You choose the printer and the settings, and you are responsible for supervising your printer while it prints. Printer makers' names are used only to say which printers the app works with; MeshForge 3D is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

We may change, add or remove features, and may suspend the service for maintenance. We will try to give notice of changes that take something away that you paid for.

3. Your account

The app creates an anonymous account tied to your device. Your credits, subscriptions, models and community posts belong to that account. You can save it with Sign in with Apple or Google: you can then sign in on a new phone to get it back, and signing in with Apple and Google using the same verified email gives one account. If the sign-in already belongs to another account and this device holds credits or models of its own, the app asks before merging them into that account.

If you do not save your account and the app's data on your device is lost (for example after a factory reset), we may not be able to restore it, though purchases can be restored from the App Store or Google Play where the store allows it. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by email — see Delete Your Data. Deletion removes your models, posts and remaining credits for good and does not refund purchases or cancel a subscription.

4. Your content and your models

Your inputs. You keep the rights you have in the prompts and images you give MeshForge 3D. You must have the right to use them: do not upload photos or artwork you do not own or have permission to use, or pictures of people without their consent.

Your models. As between you and us, you own the models generated for you, to the extent the law allows, and may use them for personal and commercial purposes — print them, paint them, sell prints, or use them in your games and projects. Because AI output may resemble existing works and may not be protected by copyright in every country, we cannot promise that a model is unique or that you can register it, and you are responsible for making sure your use does not infringe anyone's rights, including trademarks and characters owned by others.

What you let us do. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, copy and transmit your inputs and models as needed to run the service for you, and to show a finished model — with the prompt or picture it began from, and without anything that identifies you — as an example in the app's Discover section. You can ask us to remove a featured example at any time by email.

Share links. A web link you create lets anyone with it view that model until you switch the link off. A print link lets anyone with it download that print file until the date shown in the app.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use MeshForge 3D to:

  • make models of real weapons or weapon parts meant to function, or anything designed to cause harm;
  • create sexual content involving minors, or sexual or intimate depictions of real people without their consent;
  • infringe copyrights, trademarks or other rights, or impersonate or harass anyone;
  • make content that promotes violence, hatred or illegal activity;
  • get around credit limits, abuse refunds, use bots or automated access, or reverse engineer the app or our API;
  • interfere with the service or other people's use of it.

We and our providers may filter prompts and images, refuse a forge, remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

The community

You can share a model you made to the community. Its picture, 3D model, prompt and style then become public in the app with your community name and avatar; others can like it and remix the prompt, and — only if you turn on "Let others print it" — download it and print it. You can unpublish a post at any time.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post sexual, hateful, harassing or graphically violent content, real people without their consent, or other people's work. Posts are screened before they appear. Anyone can report a post or block its author; a post reported by several people is hidden until a moderator reviews it, and we act on reports within 24 hours by removing the content and blocking or closing the accounts of authors who break these rules.

6. Credits and subscriptions

  • Each forge and concept picture costs credits, shown in the app before you start. Credits are held when a forge starts and taken when it finishes; if it fails, they are released back to your balance.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases. Their credits do not expire while your account exists.
  • MeshForge Pro subscriptions (weekly, monthly or yearly) give a credit allowance for each period. Credits from a period's allowance that are not used by the end of that period lapse and do not carry over.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown in the store unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings on iPhone and iPad, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions on Android. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are not refundable except where the law requires. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; if a credit pack is refunded, its credits are removed from your balance.
  • A new account may receive a one-time welcome credit balance; we may change or end such offers.

7. Our rights

The app, its design, brand and software belong to MeshForge 3D and its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the store's rules.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be limited.

9. Ending

You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service; if we stop the service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or on this website. Continuing to use MeshForge 3D after a change means you accept the new terms.
