Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
1. Summary
This policy covers the MeshForge 3D apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and this website ("MeshForge 3D", "we", "us").
- No sign-up needed. The app creates an anonymous account tied to your device and never asks for a password. If you choose to save your account with Apple or Google, we receive the email address that sign-in shares.
- What you make is stored with us. Your prompts, the photos you add and the models made from them are sent to our servers and to the AI providers that do the generation.
- No ads, no tracking. The apps contain no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
- You can delete it. Delete a model, unpublish a post or delete your whole account in the app at any time, or ask us by email — see Delete Your Data.
2. What we collect
Your anonymous account
- A random device ID and a secret the app creates on first launch, kept in the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore. We store the ID and a one-way hash of the secret, which lets the app sign back in to the same account.
- An account ID (shown in the app's Settings, so support can find your account), your credit balance and the record of how credits were spent.
- When the app signs in: the IP address, the country it resolves to, the platform and the app version. We use these to secure the service, prevent abuse and support older app versions.
Saving your account with Apple or Google (optional)
- If you tap Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, we receive from that provider an identifier for you, your email address and whether it is verified. With Apple you can choose to hide your email; we then receive an Apple relay address. We do not receive your name, contacts or password.
- We use these only to find your account again — on a new phone, or after a reinstall — and to recognise the same person signing in with Apple and Google with the same verified email, so the two become one account.
- For Sign in with Apple we also keep a token from Apple, encrypted, so that deleting your account can revoke the app's access to your Apple ID.
Your profile and the community
- A community name (made up for you until you change it) and an optional avatar: a drawn icon, your initials, or a picture of one of your models. Neither is your real name or a photo of you unless you make it so.
- When you share a model to the community, its picture, 3D model, prompt and style become public in the app, with your community name and avatar, and whether you let others print it. We also keep likes, remixes, the reports you file and the authors you block.
Printers
- Printers you add — address, port, access code or API key — stay on your device (the code and key in the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore). The app talks to them over your local Wi‑Fi; nothing about them reaches our servers. Timelapses you download are kept on your device.
- When you make a print link, the file it points to is uploaded to our storage and the link works until the date shown in the app.
What you create
- Prompts and options: the description you type, the style, quality and other settings you choose.
- Photos and pictures: the one to four images you add to a forge, and concept pictures you generate. The app sends a resized copy; it does not read your photo library beyond the images you pick, and uses the camera only when you choose to take a photo.
- Models: the 3D files, textures and preview images generated for you.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your card or billing details. We receive the purchase record — product, date, transaction ID and status — through RevenueCat, linked to your account ID, to add credits and keep subscriptions current.
Support
If you email us, we keep your email address and the conversation to answer you.
3. How we use it
- To make the models you ask for, show them in your profile, and deliver the files.
- To run the community: show the posts you publish, screen them before they appear, and act on reports.
- To keep your account, credits and subscriptions working across launches and app updates.
- To secure the service, stop fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- To answer support requests.
- To show examples in the app: we may pick a finished model to feature in Discover as an idea to start from, together with the prompt or picture it began from. Featured examples never show your account ID or anything else that identifies you. Email us to have one of yours removed.
We do not use your prompts, photos or models to train AI models, and we do not use them for advertising.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on performing our contract with you (making and delivering your models, credits and subscriptions) and on our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention and showing examples, which you can object to).
4. Who processes it
We use these service providers, only to run MeshForge 3D and under their own security and privacy terms:
- AI generation providers (WaveSpeed AI and Meshy) receive your prompt, options and images to generate the 3D model or concept pictures, and return the results. They may keep the files for a limited time (typically about 7 days) under their own policies.
- AI language and moderation providers receive the text of your prompt when you tap Improve prompt, and the picture and text of a post you share to the community so it can be screened before it appears.
- Apple and Google handle the optional sign-in that saves your account.
- Cloudflare stores the images you upload and the files generated for you.
- Render hosts our servers and database.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect our users or the service.
5. Share links
When you create a web link to a model, anyone with the link can view that model in a browser. The page shows its name, style, preview image, 3D model and creation date — never your prompt, account or other files. You can switch the link off in the app at any time; it stops working and stays off. The viewer page loads its 3D viewer from the jsDelivr CDN, which receives the visitor's IP address.
Generated files are served from our storage at long, unguessable addresses so the apps can download them. Anyone you give such an address to can open that file.
6. How long we keep it
- Models stay in your library until you delete them. When you delete a model in the app, it leaves your library at once and its files are removed from our storage shortly after.
- Uploaded images and prompts are kept with the forge they belong to, including the record of the credits it cost, until you ask us to delete your data.
- Your account is kept while you use the app and until you delete it in the app or ask us to. Deleting it in the app closes it at once: it unlinks Apple and Google, removes your posts and your email, and signs the device out of it. Its models, prompts and images are erased from our storage when you ask us by email (see Delete Your Data).
- Community posts stay public until you unpublish them, delete the model or your account, or a moderator removes them.
- Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after deletion.
Removing the app from your device does not delete your account or models on our servers. A reinstall on the same device may sign back in to them, and if you saved your account with Apple or Google, signing in again on any device brings them back. To remove them, see Delete Your Data.
7. Your choices and rights
- Delete any model in the app: touch and hold it in the library, then tap Delete.
- Switch off any share link from the model's screen, and unpublish any community post.
- Delete your account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. If a subscription is active, cancel it in your store account too — deleting the account does not cancel it.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account and everything in it, by emailing support@aiinnovators.pro with the account ID from Settings. We answer within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell or "share" personal information as the CCPA defines those terms.
8. Security
All traffic between the apps and our servers uses HTTPS. Sign-in secrets are stored as one-way hashes, uploaded images are kept in private storage, and access to our systems is limited to the people who run the service. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
9. Children
MeshForge 3D is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app, email us and we will delete the data.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or on this website.
